Pets are welcome
Plenty of the homes we clean have a dog or cat, or both. Pet hair on stairs and under furniture is routine for us. Just let us know if your pet should stay in a room while we work.
Green products on request
Prefer natural, eco-friendly cleaners because of little ones, allergies or a sensitive nose? Ask, and that's what your cleaner brings.
What we don't clean
For the safety of our team, we don't clean areas with pet waste, blood or other contaminants that could be a health hazard. Everything else, let's talk.
How your price is figured
Every quote starts from a typical north-side home: about 2,500 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. From there we adjust for size, the number of bathrooms, pets and how long it's been since the last professional clean. Estimates are free and done by phone.
Signs it's time to hire a house cleaner
Most people don't decide to hire help because their house is filthy. They decide because cleaning has started eating the only free time they have. If any of these sound familiar, a house cleaning service will probably pay for itself in hours and sanity.
- Saturdays disappear into bathrooms, floors and laundry
- You're embarrassed when someone drops by unannounced
- Cleaning is the thing you and your partner argue about
- A new baby, a new job or a long commute changed your routine
- Bending, kneeling and reaching are harder than they used to be
- You're hosting family soon and the house isn't ready
Getting ready for your first cleaning
You don't have to clean before the cleaner comes. A quick pick-up of toys, mail and clothes lets us spend the time on actual cleaning instead of moving clutter.
Tell us about any surfaces that need special care, like marble counters or unsealed wood, and anything you want us to skip. Leave out trash bags for the bins, and if your vacuum is in good shape, we'll use it.
House cleaning FAQ
What is the difference between a standard house cleaning and a deep cleaning?
A standard cleaning keeps a reasonably clean home clean: kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, floors and touchpoints. A deep cleaning adds detailed hand-wiping, washed baseboards, blinds, ceiling fans and real time on built-up grime. Deep cleans start at $300.
Can I choose what gets cleaned?
Yes. Tell us your priorities when you book, add extras like inside the fridge or oven, and let us know anything you would like skipped. Your cleaner keeps notes for your home.
Do you bring your own cleaning products?
Yes, our cleaners bring their products, and natural eco-friendly products are available on request. We recommend using your own vacuum if it works well, so dander from other homes never comes into yours.
Do you clean homes with dogs and cats?
Yes. Pet hair is routine for us. For the safety of our team, we do not clean pet waste, blood or other health-hazard contaminants.
